Dr. Heinrich utilizes a technique known as En Bloc Frozen section, it is a technique very similar to MOHS surgery, where the cancerous tissue is removed and then immediately analyzed by a pathologist to ensure that the margins are free of cancer. This technique allows for the cancer to be removed with the smallest defect possible. Depending on the size, location, and type of cancer, Dr. Heinrich also offers nonsurgical treatments such as CO2 Laser therapy, Photodynamic therapy, and topical chemotherapeutic creams.
