Contour ThreadLift™

Who is a good candidate?

• You have moderate drooping of the soft tissues of the brow and face.
• You have poorly defined upper and mid face contours.
• You do not want or for medical reasons, cannot undergo a conventional full facelift or browlift procedure.

Description of the Procedure

• The procedure is done on an outpatient basis and performed under local anesthesia and light sedation.
• The physician makes a tiny incision or puncture in the hairline area and the Contour Threads™ are inserted under the skin.
• The tiny barbs on each thread open in an umbrella-like fashion to form a support structure that gently lifts sagging tissues of the brow, face and neck.
• Once in position, your body generates new collagen bundles that encapsulate each thread to help maintain the elevation or lifting effect.
• This procedure is an ideal compliment to other facial rejuvenation procedures such as Botox®, Restylane®, chemical peels, laser procedures, upper and lower eyelid lift, liposuction of the neck and chin augmentation.

Recovery time is from a few days to one week, depending upon the specifics of the procedure
