UltraPulse® Encore™ CO2 Laser

• This laser is used to treat deep wrinkles, acne scars, pigmentation, hypertrophic scars, keloid scars and warts.
• For moderate to deep resurfacing, your skin will go through an initial healing period which includes weeping and crusting that typically lasts for 7 to 10 days. At this point most patients return to normal activities and makeup may be applied. Your fresh, new skin will be reddish pink. This redness gradually fades within 4 to 12 weeks depending on skin type and depth of laser treatment.
• This laser can also be used to remove loose skin and fat pads from eyelids. Because the laser beam seals blood vessels as it touches them, your physician can clearly judge how much tissue to remove, and there is less swelling than with traditional eyelifts.
• With upper lid surgery, you can expect to return to normal activities in approximately 7 to 10 days. With lower lid surgery alone you can resume activities after just 2 days.
• As the skin continues to age at a normal rate, you may choose to maintain results with a “touch-up” resurfacing treatment. Cosmetic laser surgery definitely gives you the opportunity to ‘turn back the clock”!
