How it works
The Juvéderm® family of dermal fillers include Juvéderm® Ultra and Juvéderm® Ultra XC with lidocaine, highly cross-linked formulations for more versatility in contouring and volumizing of facial wrinkles and folds; and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC with lidocaine, more highly cross-linked robust formulations for volumizing and correction of deeper folds and wrinkles. After your treatment
You may experience temporary injection-site redness, swelling, and/or bruising. Side effects are usually mild to moderate and last 7 days or less. Cold compresses will help reduce swelling or discomfort. You will be advised not to touch the area for the first six hours and to avoid aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications.
You’ll get a smooth, natural look and feel that holds up over time. One treatment for the lines around the nose and mouth can last up to one year.
